Viira is a BlackBerry GTD® software application. Its goal is to help you implement the principles of Getting Things Done® in your everyday life so that you can enjoy being productive and on top of your schedule wherever you are.
The Task is the main building block of Viira's schedule. The four available views give you the complete picture of what needs tackling next:
- Day View: A view of all the Tasks and Appointments for a given day.
- Project View: Grouping tasks by Projects helps keep tasks with a similar goal together
- Context View: Filing Tasks by Context allows for a quick look up later.
- Tasks View: A list of all your Tasks
Switching between the views is effortless; to enter a new Task just reach for your BlackBerry.
In order to help you leverage the principles of GTD to their full potential, Viira uses an intuitive yet powerful classification system. Each Task or Appointment can be classified by Project, Context or by the day on which it needs to get done. This makes it possible to enter more complex tasks like:
"I need to prepare slides for the presentation on Wednesday, but need to be in front of a computer for that."
Once a Task like this is recorded in Viira, it will show up next time you look at all remaining tasks for the presentation (the Project), when you are sitting in front of a computer (the Context) and looking at what can you do next, or when you are scanning all the tasks that need to be finished this Wednesday.
Viira is compatible with all modern BlackBerry models (see the Viira FAQ for more information) and integrates with the BlackBerry's built-in Calendar.
